Our fruit basket ladies (and their manager) were happy about their sales record last week! They proudly reported that they practically doubled the number of fruit baskets sold on Saturday the 17th, compared to the Saturday before Christmas in 2010. Our fruit basket crew puts lots of personal attention into each basket, and our customers appreciate that.
This past Saturday, they sold many Royal Harvest, Bird-in-Hand Beauty, and Elite baskets. They noted that the Sampler basket is really cute and is popular as a gift for one person; they also bragged up the very-unique Bolga basket model.
Most of these baskets are for sale right now, “as we speak”, in our market on Rt. 340 (subject to availability based on sales). As of 3 pm on December 20, there were 13 fruit baskets and 8 bulk food trays, plus “brownies in a jar” baking mix, holiday jars of drink mixes like French vanilla, cappucinno, and peppermint hot chocolate, jars of mixed nuts, and boxes of fruit butter samplers.
